Cugino's was established in 1995 in the family kitchen of a small suburban home in Lake in the Hills, IL by husband and wife owners Dan & Debbie Hochstatter. Dan & Debbie met in art school but always had a strong love for quality food. With the skills that they obtained from art school and the many years of being major foodies, they put together an incredible soup line that has that from-scratch taste with the extreme convenience of just adding a few simple ingredients and following very few steps. Dan specialized in making fun illustrations and still to this day, designs the packaging and draws the characters you see on each flavor!
