Our products are handcrafted by female artisans from some of the most vulnerable communities in the world, using traditional skills that have been passed down through generations and applied to contemporary designs. As a social impact business, the impact we create is of equal importance to the money generated. SO JUST SHOP strives to make sustainability accessible and wearable, while ensuring each purchase positively impacts the lives of the artisans and their surrounding communities. SO JUST SHOP started as a route to economically empower women, all over the world. With a background in international development, our CEO and Founder, Jennifer Georgeson, witnessed first hand how economic empowerment of women increases health, education and wellbeing of whole communities, with up to 90% of all income earned by women the world over, staying within and to support their community. Sadly, many women do not have these same economic opportunities. SO JUST SHOP has been developed as a platform to enable vulnerable women throughout the world to gain economic freedom, thereby reducing childhood malnutrition, increasing access to education (for both boys and girls) and access to maternal health services.
