Brittney began Aiyana Jewelry while in palliative care after fighting an aggressive illness for many years. She began making jewelry for her caregivers, PSW’s and nurses. It was when Brittney was introduced to and began working with a First Nations medicine man from her hospital bedside that she unexpectedly began to come around. Throughout her unexpected journey of healing and recovery while learning how to walk and getting off oxygen and assistive devices Brittney continued to learn about the sacred teachings, neuroscience, and the power of Intentions. Throughout her many years of recovery, jewelry making became therapeutic for Brittney and played a major role in her healing. As she continued making jewelry for her loved ones, she began to see that it didn't only have a positive impact on her, but it did on those around her. As Brittney began to reclaim her life and health, AIYANA was born.
