About TAKARA Designs
TAKARA BEATHEAGUDELL FOUNDER, TAKARA DESIGNS Takara, born to West Indian parents and educated in Los Angeles, gained attention in the design world more than 40 years ago with her dramatic and ethnic-inspired jewelry and accessories. Takara has since expanded over the years to include an exquisite clothing line, handcrafting American style with global influences – Takara Designs. Takara has designed for multiple museums and catalog houses such as, Artful Home, Museum of Contemporary Art and Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia. Once owned three retail shops in downtown Oak Park, which included a shoe boutique, Takara Home and Takara Designs Boutique. Recently closing her clothing design boutique in Oak Park, due to the pandemic, pivoted her strategy and converted her Chicago studio to a showroom, which she takes private appointments.

Very nice and lightweight accessories. Definitely statement jewelry for the chic and classy person. I was able to contact the designer on one of the pieces and she made and delivered with no issues at all. She also sent me a sample photo to ensure it met my expectations prior to shipping. Now that’s great Customer Service.
