Our founder and Head Chocolate Maker is a second-generation Swiss chocolate maker who learned the craft from his Swiss father, a chocolatier and pastry chef. Today, he brings that tradition to life in every batch we make, using only the world’s finest and rarest Philippine-sourced trinitario cacao and premium, Philippines-sourced ingredients like siling labuyo pepper and Ilocano Asin (sea salt). We do things differently because we care deeply about the chocolate you eat. That’s why we control every step—from sourcing directly from co-op farmers in the Philippines to crafting our own cocoa butter in-house making our chocolate truly single-origin. Everything is made in our own facility in Richmond, California, where technique, innovation, and joy come together. Why does it matter?
