Fair Harbor produces sustainable swimwear that is multi-functional and positively impacts the environment. Each pair of Fair Harbor boardshorts and swim trunks are produced from eleven recycled plastic bottles. The brand was inspired by the small community of Fair Harbor, Fire Island, that embodies a laid-back, minimalist island lifestyle. Because of that, Fair Harbor’s goal is to protect the places we all know and love -- like Fair Harbor -- from plastic waste, by giving plastic a second life. Brother-sister duo, Jake and Caroline Danehy, founded Fair Harbor while both were attending Colgate University. Through the brand of Fair Harbor, the pair has cultivated a young, strong community who believe in Fair Harbor’s mission and products -- both of which will help continue to grow the brand exponentially.
