Kate Schroeder is a ceramic artist based in Kansas City, Missouri. She earned her BFA and an MFA in sculpture and ceramics. Upon completing her education, she began teaching art at the Kansas School for the Blind, where she learned to read and write in Braille. Her love of the tactile language is the beginning of Neat! Braille Jewelry. The brand can be found around the globe and is represented by The National Braille Press. The work is personal, intimate, playful, tactile, and beautiful.
