Sobre a BEIJA-FLOR

Beija-flor is a Portuguese stationery brand, with a strong connection to Portuguese culture and illustration. Founded in 2011 by Susana Gomes – a woman, mother, and designer – who describes this project not exactly as an authorial one, but in truth, it reflects her influences, experiences, and tastes. That’s also why it follows a very personal, delicate, and simple visual language. She creates without any kind of regularity or obligation, products that tell stories on paper - the ones from their origin and the ones they will hold later, in the hands of whoever gives them use and meaning. The brand combines graphic design, illustration, typography, photography, traditional printing and bookbinding techniques with a variety of finishing touches.
