Areia is a brand of lighting products specialized in glass, like, chandeliers, pendats, table lamps, floor lamps, and some decorative products We are a small familly company founded in 80´s, for our parents. They started to finish glass pieces for chandeliers, and sell it, to other lamps producers. Areia born in 2015,becuase, after working for several years with lighting from other brands, something was always missing, so we decided to invest in our own brand and follow what was always in our genes. The name Areia came about, because it is made up of silica, a fundamental component for the manufacture of glass, as well as we are near to a beach area, and Leiria pine forrest. For this reason, our city have history, of hand made, and blown glass, since 18th century.
