Classic Milanese panettone with raisins and candied fruits, processed slowly for 48 hours: its fruit taste and intense aroma are a perfect balance. Packaged in the hat box made on the basis of the historical relics of the nineteenth-century Baj Confectionery. A historical booklet on the history of the Baj brand and the Santa Radegonda district is attached to each panettone. The Baj Panettone was produced in 1768 in Milan and in the mid-19th century in Piazza del Duomo at the Baj Confectionery in the first district powered by electricity thanks to the Edison-Colombo thermoelectric power plant. Giuseppe Baj, who developed the Milanese panettone industry all over the planet, won the award for best panettone producer in Milan at the International Exhibition of 1887. Based on known information, Panettone Baj is the oldest existing brand of panettone. Today the production has restarted by direct descendants Tomaso and Cesare Baj.
