The Promise Cross was first designed in 2000, inspired by a simple yet powerful moment during an NFL game. A cameraman panned the crowd, and I noticed a fan holding a banner with the words John 3:16 boldly scrawled in red. As a new Christian at the time, I opened my Bible to understand its meaning and was deeply moved by the message of God’s love and the sacrifice of His Son for our salvation. This revelation sparked the idea for the Promise Cross—a heart resting gently on a cross made of iron, symbolizing love and sacrifice.
