The Property: The property was acquired by the Thienpont family in 1946, they sold part of it to Matthieu Thienpont who moved there with his wife. Together, they bought a few neighboring plots. With the help of their 5 children, they signed their first vintage in 2009. Therefore, with each vintage, the objective is to acquire greater precision and a more noble expression of its clay-limestone soils, through parcel vinifications. Viticulture and winemaking: Vineyard: controlled natural grass cover and tillage. Using cow manure compost from the property to breathe new life into the soil. Manual interventions: disbudding, top dressing, cabanage, splitting. Vatting in whole berries (stainless steel tanks), punching down and reassembling. Aging: 12 to 16 months in barrels, a third of which is renewed each year.
