To exist is to rebel, first against the human condition and then against established orders undermining freedom. Because rebellion is a search for some positive value amongst struggle, it implies an affirmation of existence. Rebellion should then be understood as a celebration of existence, a way of affirming our individuality. We hope this candle reminds you of your individual greatness.
