Description
Through the generations, the Mantova family has become recognized as premier testers and tasters, curating only the finest pasta to bear the family name. Our Mantova Specialty Casarecce Pasta is made from organic durum wheat flour, harvested and processed from the sunny, fertile soil of Apulia in Southern Italy—a region renowned for producing nutrient rich, flavorful grains. Our durum wheat pasta is properly prepared and dried, which creates a consistent golden color that turns lighter when cooked. Durum wheat has a higher content of protein than other whole wheat. The result is a rich texture, beautiful flavor, and a satisfied appetite. Mantova Specialty Casarecce Pasta is a rustic, twisted noodle with curled sides and a groove in the center.

The products are good BUT be aware shipping from this company runs 30-40% of your order cost. Most of my vendors, which we have many, usually run about 15-25% MAX of the total order cost. We ourselves ship glass and have a FedEx account and our shipping rate even for our tiny business runs 15-20% of the cost of the goods. I don't understand how a larger company is not getting better shipping rates than this OR they are making some extra money on the shipping.
