Our rare Cuzco green coffee in organic & fairtrade beans, is the ripe seed of the coffee tree that has not undergone the roasting stage. It is a 100% pure organic Arabica Typica bourbon coffee. It is grown between 1600m and 2000m above sea level by small producers in Cuzco or Cusco, a region close to Machu Picchu, in Peru. It comes from organic and fairtrade agriculture certified by Max Havelaar. It is harvested between April and September and is dried in the sun. It is washed and then subjected to rapid wet fermentation. Not having been roasted, green coffee contains 2 to 3 times more phenolic compounds than roasted coffee and has many benefits, such as weight loss aid, reducing the feeling of fatigue, increasing stamina and facilitating concentration.
