Description
These wooden flutes feature an embouchure hole and 6 note holes. They are 15.5” long, and are made from a light colored, glossy wood that is sealed, ensuring it is protected and giving it a rich, full voice. They are similar in design to the recorder, however they produce a much softer, beautiful sound than the typical plastic ones. They are tuned to the pitch of A, the international concert pitch (440hz). Flutes are great for setting moods, music, ceremonies, and recreation. Playing music can be therapeutic and soothing, so this is a great gift for someone (both adult and/or child) in need of that who may not have extensive experience with more complicated instruments. Beginners may want to cover the third hole from the top while learning the instrument. Flutes that are wooden, not only tend to be easier to learn, but are more cost friendly and easy to maintain. These flutes should be stored in a dry place, as prolonged exposure to water can cause water damage to any wooden object.

I wanted a smaller gong case since my gong is 12 inches but this one was the closest fit. It still works and with the extra room, i can fit my strikers in the case with it.
