Our Longpi Pottery Dinner Bowls are crafted by artisans using age-old techniques in a village in Manipur, India. Each plate is meticulously made without the use of a potter's wheel using locally-sourced weathered-rock and serpentine clay. Each piece is air-dried, then polished with a local leaf and fired to achieve the unique, velvety, matte finish and black hue. Perfect for both casual and formal settings, this bowl can be used for dining or serving. Ideal for special occasions such as weddings and holiday gatherings, the durability and rustic charm also seamlessly fits into everyday meals.
