Aloe vera soap - restorative / dry and damaged skin Our aloe vera soap, enriched with 9% superfat, is ideal for dry and dehydrated skin. The olive oil base of our aloe vera soap ensures hydration and softness. Thanks to the healing, soothing, and regenerating properties of organic aloe vera, our soap nourishes and repairs. Organic hemp oil, with its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory virtues, helps calm redness. Finally, spirulina powder brings suppleness, softness, and elasticity to the skin. Our aloe vera soap is cold saponified, artisanally made at the Senza workshop in a comprehensive ecological approach: fewer kilometers, less energy, more organic. Designed without fragrance and allergens, it is suitable for the whole family. Our aloe vera soap, like all products in the Senza range, has the Nature & Progress label, the strictest in cosmetics. What is cold saponification (CS)? Saponification involves mixing a fat (oil) with lye to trigger a chemical reaction. Unlike hot saponification where the mixture is heated to speed up the reaction, cold saponification allows the mixture to saponify over time (minimum 4 weeks). At Senza, this is the process we use. In addition to avoiding the use of energy for heating, it allows us to preserve the properties of each of the ingredients used. What is a superfat? The addition of excess vegetable oils compared to the lye at the end of the cold saponification process is called "superfat." This excess volume will not be saponified, and the final formula, enriched with nourishing superfatting agents, will be gentler on the skin. At Senza, all our soaps have a superfat content between 8% and 9%.
