Wholesale Ethiopian Style Embroidered Motif (Tilf) Printed Silk Scarf

This scarf design is is inspired by the large medallion motifs embroidered at the bottom of traditional Ethiopian and Eritrean dresses. Woven textiles decorated with hand embroidery have a long history in Ethiopia, made by highy-skilled and dedicated artisans. Long, white cotton dresses are worn by women, and are adorned with beautiful, richly colored embroidered patterns that run down the middle of the dress. The large medallion at the bottom consists of a matrix of overlapping geometric shapes but the protruding decorative spiral lines gives it an abstract, beautiful creature-like appearance. Inspiration images are at the end. Scarves come individually packaged in a Kraft cardboard box, 5.25” x 7.5” x .5” with clear plastic window at front.
