Dejavu about a trip... I am born from trees of the genus Aquilaria, when they are contaminated by a certain mold. The aggression is repelled through the production of resin. In this way, the wood remains protected. The resinous core of the wood goes from being soft and odorless to dark and aromatic, with the aim of curbing the growth of mold. The resin is extracted with different methods depending on which an oil of different quality will be obtained. The final product is my essential oil, characterized by a woody and enveloping smell. In Japan, they are among the protagonists in the Ko-Do ceremony, during which my resin and other aromatic woods are burned in the braziers.
