Looking for the old old school sealing wax like that seen in period movies. The glossy, glamorous sealing wax in the rich dazzling colors and metallics used to adorn hand delivered notes and cards, wrapped presents. Not to be confused with the modern flexible variety designed to survive post office sorting machines, this is the wax to use for adornment or personalizing, especially when the occasion calls for the drama of breaking a seal to open an package, envelope or scroll. Just light the wick, hold the stick 2-3" above the paper and let each drop of melted wax accumulate until it forms a pool. Then place your metal stamp, wait 15-20 seconds until fully hardened, then remove. Hard wax also works wonderfully cut up for a brass melting spoon where you can mix and marble colors to your heart's content.
