The brand VMP has been producing handcrafted, high-quality belts with interchangeable VMP buckles in our production facility in Italy for over 40 years. Each belt is shipped in a high-quality VMP bag and with a VMP item label. With our belts and the original interchangeable system of matching buckles, more than a million combinations can be individually assembled — the right belt for every day and every occasion. In the production of a belt, all steps are still carried out by hand, ranging from cutting to final inspection. For a simple cowhide belt, about 30 manual steps are involved. For more elaborate belts, such as our studded belts, several additional manual steps are naturally added. The wide stitching is also, of course, threaded by hand on many belts.
