Our fleur de sel from South Africa is sea salt of the purest and best quality, indispensable for the final seasoning and refining of all dishes. Its fine-leaved, sheer structure makes it an absolute delight to eat and you'll be amazed at how good salt can taste! Our FLEUR DE SEL comes from a several centuries old salt garden in eastern South Africa. The special feature of these salt marshes is that they are not located directly on the sea, but are located several hundred metres inland. The water is pumped from an underground sea water lake, which in turn is fed from the pure waters of the Atlantic via a natural underground inlet.
