Lilah's team, the Hexadecis, competes against a group of older students for an all-expenses paid trip to the national Digital Divas summer program across the country in San Francisco, where her dad now lives with a new wife and baby. Lilah believes that winning the contest will finally guarantee her father's attention. As Lilah and her team develop their coding skills by building their project in the Digital Divas' virtual environment, they encounter a strange electric entity who knows their names.
