At Bona Furtuna, we honor Sicilian history by marrying heirloom grains with modern technology to honor heritage and ensure authentic taste in every one of our different pasta shapes. Traditional to Trapani in Western Sicily, Busiate pasta is formed by twisting strands of dough around “ferros,” thin rods used to create a spiral shape similar to a telephone cord. Our Sicilian Busiate pasta is made from 100% organic durum wheat flour and water and bronze died for robust flavor and texture.
