During my college admissions journey, I encountered many difficulties and obstacles based mainly on the lack of resources and information available for first-generation Latinx students in the United States. While attending college, I was lucky enough to have worked in a career center that helped guide my search, and I had parents who had gone through the college process before; yet many of my friends were not so lucky and struggled to navigate the complex process that is the college admissions cycle.
