Top notes of bergamot and spicy cloves unfold into a heart of rockrose (labdanum), complemented by a hint of herbaceous lavender and rose petals. Base notes of luxurious leather, sweet tobacco leaves, and seductive amber envelop the senses in an earthy sweetness. What is rockrose/labdanum? Labdanum is an aromatic resin used in the perfume industry and a vegan alternative to infamous ambergris–an ingredient once collected from sperm whales. It’s a luxurious note all on its own with leathery, animalistic, and musky notes.
