Eleanor of Toledo's sumptuous brocade dress inspired my design for this foulard, echoing the magnificence of Spanish fashion. It reflects Christina symbols of ressurection and regeneration found in the portait's pomegranate and pinecone motifs. The same lapis lazuli blue background as the portrait adorns this foulard.
