Description
A season-less classic bestseller, Tesu Black Silk Scarf Scarf is a keeper to compliment for personal wear or as a special gift. The name TESU is derived from root word Tesuji shibori technique orignated from Japan where Tesu means hand and Suji means stripes. Tight winding of the fabric to create stripes pattern, created all by hand. Natural indigo is used to dye the 40 gms silk textile carefully one piece at a time by our skillful artisans in India. The base color of the scarf is created by using dyes from Acacia tree, the base is a beautiful gold hue with black shibori prints. An effortless classic style statement, this is one of our bestselling silk scarves. Reusable packing pouch is available at an extra cost, also made by our artisans.

We love minimalistic design. Fine materials, finishing and detailing. Less is more to us. So we were extremely happy to find a designer that shares this aesthetic. The linen is excellent quality and the additional gift pouch is elegant. Our only criticism is that there was a lot of waste in terms of the shipping packaging. (too much plastic tape, did not allow us to reuse the box). We recycle.

I consider myself pretty picky with textiles. If I was going to bring it into our shop I wanted it to be high quality and luxurious. These really hit the mark. The Blok Rosewood gets so much attention. It is unbelievably soft and light. The linen ones are going to be a travel favorite I can tell (granted we ever get to travel again!).
