Casa Bella Vida wooden serving items are created from the RARE and unique Guamuchil tree, found only in the very most southern parts of Mexico. Artisan families work together to carefully HAND CARVE this hard, distinctive wood into beautiful serving pieces that we are proud to offer you!  No two items are the same and each is a piece of art! The wood is food safe and can be washed by hand, with mild soap, careful not to submerge in water.  We also recommend conditioning the wooden items every few months with a food safe mineral oil.  This will ensure these items last for years. All Casa Bella Vida hand carved wooden items are sustainably and ethically sourced.
