Description
Hand harvested form the pristine waters of Southeast Alaska, our coho salmon is delicately smoked and hand packed into jars. Each jar contains 6.5 ounces of smoked coho salmon. There are no added oils, the oils you see are the salmon's own fats and oils that come out in the canning process. Our smoked salmon jars are a shelf stable product - no freezing or refrigeration required until you open the package. Once open, refrigerate and consume within a week. There is skin on our smoked salmon, but no bones. product is very. very salty, but has a nice smokey flavor, not over done. Tried eating it with crackers, but couldn't eat more than a few bites because of the salt! I don't like selling products on my shelves unless I'm 100% satisfied with it. I'm not with this. But, maybe my customers will like it better than I do. I hope so. I wrote to them and am waiting to hear back.

We opened a can of smoked salmon and four Alaskans declared it the best they had ever eaten, including my husband who grew up on a fishing boat and generally dislikes salmon. We will happily stock this product, recommend it and eat it for lunch with crackers!
