The marula tree (sclerocarya birrea), also known as the elephant tree, grows wild in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe, and the oil from marula seeds (fruit seeds) has always been valued and used by residents as a skin and hair care product. Its skin-caring and regenerating properties make this oil a particularly valuable component in many formulations, particularly in anti-aging care and for dry, dry or dull skin.
