Citrus australasica, known as finger lime, is a shrub or small tree of the understorey of the subtropical rainforests of the lowlands in the coastal border region of Queensland and New South Wales (Australia). The plant measures 2-6 meters in height. The leaves are small, 1-5 cm long and 3-25 mm wide, glabrous, with a cut and crenate tip towards the apex. The flowers are white with petals 6-9 mm long. The fruit is cylindrical, 4-8 cm long, sometimes slightly curved. It comes in different colors, including pink and green.
