This pattern is inspired by small Meskel (Ethiopian Orthodox Cross) pendants that are molded into quatrefoil motifs with intricate designs delicately etched into the center. These pendants are abundant in Ethiopia, dating back to hundreds of years, and come in various quatrefoil shapes and designs. In this scarf, a Meskel pendant is designed with rich, contrasting colors and put into a repeat, complimented by a delicate, contrasting border pattern. Inspiration images are at the end. Scarves come individually packaged in a Kraft cardboard box, 5.25” x 7.5” x .5” with clear plastic window at front.
