California grown, Mission Almonds Grown in the Golden State, our Mission almonds are steam pasteurized as opposed to fumigation with propylene oxide (PPO). The nuts are naturally sweet and oily. We add a bit of pure, simple almond oil for a smoother, creamier texture, and no other ingredients are used. Almonds have been shown to be nutrient dense and have a whole array of health benefits: lowering LDL cholesterol, stopping plaque buildup in arteries, preventing irregular heart rhythms, and a good source of calcium for bone health, just to name a few.
