A traditional straight sided chawan. Matcha is going to look fabulous against the black interior. The outside is glazed a neutral cream color with 1/3 of red stoneware exposed. It is 3" tall by 5" wide and holds 16 ounces. You'll have plenty of room for whisking and a thin lip for comfortable sipping. It's an attractive piece to have on the counter while you're not using it, or stick it in the dishwasher. Either way it is a durable ceramic item for years to come.
