In 1937, my grandfather Libero learned the art of craftsmanship in a footwear manufacturer's Bottega. After the ll world war, Libero and his brother started creating handmade footwear and selling them in the streets of Florence. My father Riccardo was born surrounded by leather goods and since childhood, he has been attracted by the art of leather processing. He started creating toys with leather scraps. In 1977, Ricardo established the company Malucchi, specialized in the production of pets' accessories. At the end of the 1990s, at the Nuremberg international fair, he exhibited his first collection by MALUCCHI MADE IN ITALY. From then on Malucchi brand grew continuously, up to position itself among the top worldwide crafts manufacturers in the luxury market for the pet industry. With my entry, Malucchi moved on to the 3rd generation and specialized in the production of pet items of extreme luxury. My father's experience and my innovative ideas create an ideal combination. In the near future, the company intends to expand its product range, including pet beds and design dogs bowls.
