Rachel è un architetto qualificato. Ha lavorato nella pratica per diversi anni prima di intraprendere una carriera nell'illustrazione dopo essere stata selezionata per il Premio Serco per l'illustrazione nel 2014. Da allora, i suoi lavori sono stati pubblicati in varie pubblicazioni, tra cui la guida ufficiale del Tower Bridge, e sono venduti in una selezione di gallerie indipendenti. Il background di Rachel in architettura ha influenzato il suo stile artistico e i suoi soggetti. Il suo stile audace e minimale cerca di ridurre un soggetto alla sua essenza e accentuare la semplicità di una forma. Rachel ha illustrato The Boat Race per una mostra sulla storia del canottaggio a Putney. È stato questo a catturare il suo interesse per questo sport. Successivamente, le sue illustrazioni di canottaggio le sono valse diverse commissioni importanti, tra cui il poster ufficiale della Henley Royal Regatta 2019 e l'artwork ufficiale per The Boat Race 2022 e 2023. Il suo lavoro, «I vincitori e i vinti», è stato selezionato per i World Illustration Awards 2020.
