My relationship with mussels go way back to my college days working on a boat and having to scrape mussels and barnacles off the bottom a couple of times a year. In all honesty it took me years to finally appreciate mussels again. This shadowbox highlights the beauty of mussels shells, and lets them show off in their original sparkling and beautiful state. All items were hand collected by me, over the course of hundreds of beachcombing walks.
