MAARIS is a brand inspired by the sea (mar in portuguese), the coast of Portugal, the power that nature and sun have in our lives. MAARIS comes from the desire for a mindful, simpler and more minimalist life. We make versatile headwear with natural tones, simple design for a timeless living. As a slow fashion brand and to reduce overstock waste all our pieces are made to order. Our slow fashion movement prioritizes the local against to the global, all our pieces are crafted in Porto by local seamstresses. We think nature knows best so we use natural fibers to make our accessories. Supporting responsible and rescued materials from deadstock of portuguese factories is a conscious choice to our body and planet.
