For speltex® spelt hull fillings, carefully selected raw materials undergo a series of screening and sorting steps. The sap of the rubber tree penetrates the hulls, comparable to oil for solid wood furniture, while keeping the surfaces open-pored. The rubber significantly increases their durability and multiplies their lifespan. They are free from dust and very resistant to the development of fine abrasion. Optionally, hulls with double impregnation are available, which increases their break stability. The hulls are already dust-free and resistant to abrasion dust with rubber processing. Washing is possible up to 60 °C. We recommend our special laundry net for this. The hulls can be heated up to 90 °C, preferably in the oven or on a radiator.
