At Spaza Store we design and produce quality crafted functional products guided by environmental kindness and the upliftment of people. Our designs are inspired by the personal experiences of our founder and designer, Julia Schaffer, who draws inspiration from her enjoyment of cooking, entertaining, exploring, and travelling. Based in Cape Town, South Africa our dedicated staff oversees the production of our handmade products by several home and community-based-worker-owned makers, many mothers and caregivers living on the Cape Flats. Spaza’s flagship store is in The Watershed, V&A Waterfront with distribution in the UK, US and Canada. We are proud to be recognised for our sustainable business practices by the Fair Trade Federation and we are a certified Women-Owned business. Read their story
