About Up the Wazoo Apparel

When I founded Up the Wazoo, I was staging a rebellion against boring. After more than two decades in retail, visual merchandising, and a lifetime of hands-on making, I decided it was time to stop toning myself down and start turning the volume all the way up. For me, creating has always been personal. Crafting, sewing, and colors were my language long before they became my business. Up the Wazoo was born from that energy: a place where handmade statement accessories refuse to whisper. Every piece I make is unapologetically bold, a little outrageous, and designed to be worn like a spotlight. I don’t create for everyone, and that’s the point. Up the Wazoo is for people who want to stand out, laugh loudly, and turn everyday life into a stage. My work is a celebration of individuality, joy, and the art of not giving in to dullness. I want to show that fashion can be fearless, fun, and still conscious. That accessories can be both a riot and a responsibility. For me, Up the Wazoo is more than a business.
