Compote obtained from the processing of bergamot, a typical fruit of Calabria, which grows only on its coasts. Known for its strong aroma, and the use of its extract in cosmetics, the fruit of bergamot has countless nutritional properties, which make it indispensable for proper nutrition: it is rich in vitamin C, vitamin A and minerals. Thanks to a careful and quality processing, which involves the processing of the whole fruit and not only its juice, the organoleptic properties of the raw material are unchanged. The addition of just over 20% of sugar, counteracts the strong sourness of the fruit, making the compote aromatic but sweet at the same time.
