About Fog Linen Work
Fog Linen Work was founded by Yumiko Sekine in 1999. After working as an importer of books and housewares, she began producing her own line of simple, durable linen products in Lithuania, where flax is traditionally grown and woven into linen. What began as a small collection of seven items has grown into a full range of linen home goods and clothing. In addition to our Lithuanian linen line, we also produce handcrafted brass and metal items in India under “fog et cetera,” and cotton clothing and accessories under “miiThaaii.” -Important Information- The shipping and import fees shown at checkout on Faire are estimates calculated by Faire. The actual shipping cost is determined at the time of shipment and varies depending on the size and weight of your order. For U.S. Customers Please note that although checkout may indicate “Billed separately by carrier,” U.S. customers are not charged additional import duties beyond our current 10% surcharge on the order subtotal. For Customers Outside the U.S. Depending on your country's import regulations, you may also be required to pay import duties, customs clearance fees, and local taxes (such as VAT or GST). These charges are not included in your order total and, if applicable, will be billed separately by the carrier or customs authority. If you receive an invoice from the carrier after your order has shipped, this is for import duties, taxes, or customs fees required by your country's regulations, not an additional charge from us.
