"Mid 20th C. Printed Cotton. The vintage cotton fabric ( Caucasian Caftans) we used for these pillow covers dates back to 20th C. and it is from Caucasia. Every pillow is unique but can also contain small imperfections; the charm of a handmade product. Old Textiles showcases the gorgeous printed-cotton textiles created and manufactured in Caucasia and exported to Central Asia from approximately 1860 to 1960. More than 175 spectacular patterns spanning a variety of periods and styles, from Art Nouveau florals to Soviet-era agitprop, are featured. The people in these Central Asian countries—including Uzbeks, Tadjiks, and Turkmen—incorporated the brightly patterned material into their clothing, particularly their robes, and in their household items. Material: 100% cotton. Back side is cotton fabric and with zipper. I love these pillow cases, however the sizes are odd. I did find some inserts for them but it would be nice if they were more standard sizes. Even though some of the pillows appeared to be the same size pillow cover, there can be a 1-2" size difference.

As a small business owner these pillows have been a beautiful fun and classy addition to the space. They always sell incredibly well.
