In pagan mythology, the autumn equinox is called Mabon, or Second Harvest. It is a time to give thanks for the summer and to pay tribute to the coming darkness. The holiday is named after the Welsh God, Mabon, son of Earth Mother goddess Modron. This ritual oil can be used as a divination tool and as a daily wear oil. It is made with Mabon corresponding herbs, minerals, resins and magick. I love to incorporate this offering into my practice during this time to amplify my spell-work and intention.
