A hand carved, and hand painted wood carving from a small village in Oaxaca, Mexico. This "Alebrije" carving (as it is called in Mexico) represents a porcupine. All carvings are all handmade from individual wood and each piece is unique. Colors will vary on all Oaxacan carvings. Each one will come in a different color which adds to the uniqueness. All items are signed or initialed by the artists and each piece comes with story card that tells about the carving process.
