This honey comes from apiaries located in environments full of chestnut trees in Bierzo and is therefore unique. The bees make it during the flowering of the chestnut tree and its collection is usually in July. Its flavor is sweet like any honey but its background has a salty touch and sometimes a bitter touch if there is heather or bramble in its composition. Our advice is that if you have never tried it... dare at least once! Then you won't want to change anymore.
