Description
Originally the totem pole was a carved wooden pillar produced by northwestern Native Americans to indicate tribal family, group, or clan. Inspired by Native American art, we carved a nesting doll unusually tall and slim and added eagle wings to resemble the shape of the actual totem poles. This Totem Pole Nesting Doll opens to reveal artistically rendered totem pole animals that traditionally represented particular totem pole meanings. For instance, bears are viewed as a symbol of caring and the wolf is believed to be a healer. Discover the totem symbols on this unique nesting matryoshka and create your own, personal meanings.
